If I don't get porridge everyday I will stop eating until I do. It's sounds silly. But it's a thing. When you finally remember/realize how hungry you are it's a day or 2 later. Then you have to resist the urge to eat everything in under 3 seconds potentially binge eating. I'm dairy free so my food choices within budget are limited haha. But there's a battle of restrictive eating vs impulsiveness. So small steps: setting an alarm for regular eating. Let's try this.

@mooniepops hi I struggle with a lot of this too especially on days when I don't have to be up and out the door by a certain time or if my brain feels too overwhelmed trying to figure out if I need to have my meds first or a coffee first or food first 🤦🏼♀️ I've been thinking about setting timers too but I know I have a bad history of just turning alarms off and ignoring them haha

@mooniepopsI found alarms help if I only let them vibrate, but beep. Same with device notifications in general, even incoming phone calls. That way they're not such a sensory overwhelm.@kimber

@strypey @mooniepops I have been using vibrating alarms for my medication actually, I might try add a few more throughout the day for snacks
