       @Hammertime Welcome! There is no algorithm here, so you have to curate your own timeline. You can start by browsing your Local timeline, which will show all toots (posts) from the people on the same instance (server) as you. Start following people you find interesting there. You can browse the Federated timeline to see toots from people on your instance and from everybody who is known to your instance.You can search for people you already know the handle of in the Search bar.You can also search for topics that interest you in the Search bar and browse the hashtags.Then you can browse the toots of everyone you follow in your Home timeline. If you follow a lot of people, creating categories using Lists can be a good idea.Before starting this however, I would recommend adding some info to your profile to help people who might want to follow you back.
