       So I’m noticing that following people is spotty. I’ll find an old friend on another instance and follow, then get a pending. Do some instances default to users need to approve new follows? Is it due to the scale up issues around migration? Is there a best practice to follow?  #twittermigration #fediverse

       @ckshowalter we're working to improve this and it will get better.  There is a lot of optimization but now that there is so much traffic, we can see where the bottlenecks are.  Thank you for your patience!

       @ckshowalter Some instances require approval for follows.Others seem to be filtering the notifications from your instance.
