Fun thing, yesterday I got an email from my former best friend who I broke ties with after he went down the rabbit hole a few years ago and tried to pull me with him. Apparently he saw Mastodon blowing up on Twitter and wanted to 'make it right' by sending some weird headlines and links to shady 'news' websites🤔I told him I didn't had time for him and his negativity and that be better could stay on Twitter :catblush:

@stux As we travel through life we change and the people around us change. You've done the best thing. People do come back from the rabbit hole and if he does great, but while he's there you can't do a lot to help.

@stux I know the feeling of breaking ties with people and then trying to return - the universe has a great way of helping you shed dead weight and showing you who truly doesn’t belong in your life. Glad you didn’t get dragged in :)

@stux i am sad about loosing Friends due to conspiration theories. Lost a friend who i know for about 47 years. Was my great love at school from the age of 13.😥
