It's looking like Mastodon is gaining real traction. I'm seeing people I know IRL/offline/in meat-space that are signing up—like in the wild.I hope this doesn't mean I have to be all professional here now too.

@ChrisWere @killyourfm @YvanDaSilva I'll say that I'm surprised to hear that the immigration to fediverse has surpassed 200,000 (org. 70.000 per Slashdot), and probably a few more will come in the coming weeks, but we have no idea how many do (or do not) retire their old birdsite accounts.
