Remember the eavesdropping into a different server idea? Many pointed out to me that it's possible with Toot! iOS app (it's paid - $3.99) #fosstodon is my home server and as you can see from the screenshots, I can see local timelines from #fediscience & #qoto Thanks for the recommendation @CodingItWrong @MattCrump

@appsAh, awesome. Just realised how to do it after searching a bit more. I think it's only possible to track another instance's local timeline when I click on the three-dots menu on a user profile from that instance? From a usability/explorability perspective it would be great to be able to search for instances directly like we can do it for hashtags and persons. Or is that already possible and I just didn't discover it in the app interface?@athulsudheesh

@laubblaeserSearching is not currently available. But you don't need to pass through a profile for following instances. More at https://fedilab.app/wiki/features/reorder-timelines/@athulsudheesh
