@arinbasuI am obviously biased but I think we have hands down one of the best servers on the fediverse. Drama is very rare here and when someone comes who does tend to start it they never last long. Amazing for an instance which doesnt limit the topics we are allowed to talk about and generally encourages free speech (hate speech not being free speech).Its the first time I’ve ever seen a social media community actually work and get a long. @DrK @freemo @SteveZissou I too think this is really a good decent server; if you check the local timeline, you will discover nice folks around. The editor is well designed, and this server actually allows you to integrate other federated tools, that's fantastic. I also found nice uptime and so on. #GoodInstance

@MrsDi I find just being STEM oriented really brings in a nice crowd... Being in the STEM world myself I am bias on this, but I always enjoyed the company of my fellow STEMies :)But I think there is another aspect, QOTO has always had a big emphasis of "we wont censor you, but be respectful!".. Which has let us be an environment where you can talk about topics that often lead to fights in other contexts but here we amazingly tend to have very respectful and mature interactions anyway... I love it! It seems all the new people from twitter see that vibe and are going with it (its always concerning when there is a new influx in that regard)... so its really great to see that community dynamic being perpetuated and not dilueted.@DrK @arinbasu @SteveZissou

@jweile Sadly there is a bit of a bug with our latext right now, but i have it fixed in the source already and am going to attempt a release this weekend.. if its successful latex should work smoothly again.@arinbasu @SteveZissou
