@basil @fitheach I can't touch it (or any spirit) since my motorbike accident. I was on painkillers for months and now when I try and take spirits (even one) I'm spewing up within an hour. I can't exactly go to the doctor and say "I can't drink spirits anymore." (Well, I could, but they would celebrate, not cure it 🤣)

@fitheach Fair enough! And I'll say I'm with you. Ardbeg is my ambrosia whilst my wife's favourite is Lagavulin. Benromach's subtle smokiness was such a treat for a Speyside, proabably why I gravitate towards it.Hoping to make it out to Islay for a tour of the island next year, we've been talking about it for quite some time now.

@geo Ìle is a great island, with friendly people. Lots to see, and do, aside from all of the distilleries. One of my favourite places (not just because I'm a MacDonald 😃 ) is Loch an Eilein (Finlaggan).Do try to go in May for Fèis Ìle, not to be missed.
