I have cometh to the conclusion that k8s is NOT something you upgrade.You install a new cluster, and migrate your shit over to the new one.

@selea Agreed. This is why you use #pipelines / #gitops / #fluxcd or anything. As long as it's automated.Storage is backed up using something like #velero and restored to the new cluster.#kubernetes

@selea I mean, there probably is a way to upgrade rather than re-install and migrate... but it's probably just like anything else in k8s: Overcomplicated and requires the patience of a saint to do.
