Here's my morning takeaways:1. The "red wave" is more like a "red sprinkle."2. Too many voters in Florida, Ohio, and Texas prefer crappy representation (not news to anyone.) The rest of us need to help the good people there. They’ll need it.3. Trump is an albatross Republicans just can't quit.4) No red wave. Despite the media-concocted Dem “struggles" or "angst”, Biden has done very well, given midterm history.5) Garbage media takes on New York's Hochul didn’t work. @TonyStark Intuitively people can sense hypocrisy. And nothing is more hypocritical than Republicans harping on medical freedom for two years, to turn around and drool over abortion bans -- including rape and incest. The Republicans don't want the mantle of freedom of liberty.

@TonyStark Great analysis! We didn't come out too bad. Warnock (GA) should have topped 50% against a totally unqualified idiot, but he'll win the runoff. Election deniers in AZ state races look to be mostly defeated. What's happened to OH? It used to be a swing state.

@TonyStark @jlindborg @renegade_nate @richardb It definitely does. Vance appeals to that all the time. I’m really disappointed this morning that he’s going to be my Senator. He’s full of hate.He definitely goes for telling people “others” are coming to ruin their lives. Ohioans would do so much better to elect Democrats who have real policies that would make their lives better. Tim Ryan is a man like that.

@lockeness This is the current count. It’s not even done yet.Often, the party of a sitting President loses a lot of seats in the midterms and lots of the media was predicting it.A wave would be 30, 40 seats. Dems got over 40 in 2018. At best this is a #PinkTinkle (term courtesy of a friend.)

@TonyStark @lockeness I would, of course, love to see the Dems hold both house and senate.. but if the house at worst could be 217-218 .. that would wreck the GOP.. 2 defections... or some other "event".. could change everything in the dems favor...
