@dick_turpin I never cook at Blue check mark from Twitter. I found how to get it here and then found it doesn't work with the sites I needed to work with so I'm going along quite happily without one.

@dick_turpin give them the benefit of the doubt here, people have gone so long without an alternative to algorithm based methods of social media promotion that they've become conditioned to expect high post traffic through verification

@dick_turpin at least that's the way I'm looking at things at the minute, as far as their complaints go, I'm sure you'll agree that people will go out of their way to complain to anyone about anything, best way to deal with them unless their complaint is an extremely valid one is to just ignore them and eventually they'll go back to the bird app
