       @leo it's all about the journalist. You, and they are what social media gathers around to talk about the world. And the influx of journalists to this platform, could be the thing that actually makes it work. That being said, we need those journalists to understand how different servers work on Mastodon, if this is ever going to work.

       @leo The thing I liked about birdsite was I could open it up and get the gist of the day's big stories within about 15 minutes. Mastodon seems pretty close to replicatng that right now.
