       I've been doing moderation since 5 years around. And the main problem was, is and certainly will be spambots.They take place and might vomit in your timeline.A few tips on how to spot them (based on my experience)đź§µ

       First, you might encounter spambots with particular names. Those names might contain :- escort (often asian city name with it). Do you need a picture ? Or do you need pills to EnLaRg…- consulting, limited, solutions or whatever business corporate bulshit title. Not much business to do around.

       Also, Spambots often have gmail or outlook addresses with the same pattern.They really often contains 3 or 4 digits numbers…Ok, there might be legit users with the same pattern, but it's a clue. As admin/modo you'll get used to it.

       Some of them, are business related just contains a short description and a link to somewhere.Might be legit business.But those accounts NEVER toot anything. Like the account is here just for SEO.I don't know for you, but this instance is not run for this.Just suspend'em. Enlight your database and others too.

       Also, when you suspect an account, always make sure to check other accounts with the same IP address.More, if you do so and type /24, or /48 at the end of address, you might notice (quite often) that bots come by number from the same subnetworks.You might then want to filter subscriptions from those nets for a certain amount of time.
