So brands are bound to join the Fediverse. It's only a matter of time before Netflix and Pepsi show up. I would rather that they start their own instances rather than suddenly leeching off some poor volunteer who's living off donations. And they should employ moderators to maintain their instances.

And yet again, this is why it's best to do your homework before mentioning a brand on social. What initially seemed to be a nice interaction ended up being an unintentional ad for a bunch of assholes. So now I hope everyone reading this knows that White Smoke BBQ hangs out with Neo-Nazis on Gab. And please de-federate their instance!
