Seems like we're going to get a 51-49 Dem Senate, GOP takes the House but not nearly to the level they were expecting. Also seems like Governors races were a total crapshoot.

@GatorTime We got our fortified elections. GOP got all its biggest wins in places where it controls the executive branch and oversees elections, for Dems it was the opposite.

@GatorTime Seems really bad like it doesn't matter how bad things actually are, if you say enough scary things about the other guy normies will cower in fear.2024 dems will probably squeak off a win, which means basically poverty and faggotry for the next 6+ years.

@ArdainianRight @GatorTime It's worth noting in many places the GOP fits the definition of controlled opposition to the T, especially in bluer states. They will never do anything to help win elections or push for anything, instead they just keep losing yearly, probably running Mitt Romney tier candidates too.On the other hand in my state Tim Ryan got smoked lmao, which is funny as I saw no Vance signs around here and a lot of out of state funded "Fellow republican voting Ryan" ads.

@Jens_Rasmussen @GatorTime Not particularly. If anything, I'd say a divided Congress is the part that's slightly outside the norm. But except for a few brief periods in the 00's and 10's, the Democrats have had a stranglehold on the Senate. Which makes sense. Because they're statewide elections, Democrats can more easily lean on (and cheat in) major urban centers.
