       I agree with @iiogama -- for us SDF users that have been here for years, it's a bit disheartening to have an absolutely massive influx of users arrive and expect it to be a Twitter clone. It's not. SDF's instance is paid for by SDF members, and probably out of pocket to a degree by the admins. There are no ads, no scraping and selling your data, and you have full control over your data and which instance you're on. Be patient. This instance has been around for a long time already.

       If things seem slow, just click once on Follow or Publish or whatever, and wait. The server is running, and will serve your request.
