If I wanted to host a couple old #Typelevel conference videos away from the #YouTube hegemon, is there a recommended #Peertube instance for such things?

@alexelcu @rossabaker I use #yunohost to host all my #foss applications which makes it super easy. Literally few clicks to install anything. FYI #yunohost is installed on top of #debian. Regarding resource consumption, the way I have set it up its pretty low resource usage. As #peertube uses #webtorrent I hardly notice any increase in resource consumption. I do notice high CPU utilization when a new video I upload and is being processed, but just during that. 1/x cont'd

@alexelcu @rossabaker Right now I am getting away with a $10 per VPS from #linode and I am hosting these apps on ithttps://shared.softinio.com/Screen-Shot-2022-11-08-07-29-18.95.png#6f90b3c25db53a6ce24eba19cc74af8e29f309df36d789d55498ea03dbb7b3dfI have my #peertube setup closed for registration but people can comment on videos via #activitypub Just doing this is what keeps my resource usage low. Currently its only me who uploads and I do that infrequently hence low usage. I have also limited the videos I upload to 1080p only. 2/x cont'd
