       Curious what hardware setup the twit.social instance is using; is it a cloud-hosted VM or on-premise franken PC?  Whatever it is...it sure seems to run well compared to the other Mastodon servers I've tried.

       Good question @mj TWiT.social runs on a managed Mastodon host https://masto.host. I'm the admin but they handle the back end 100%.They've been doing this for us for free for three years. I tried to pay him be he wouldn't take it. I'll try again!But thanks @mastohost !

       @leo @mj @mastohost with the influx of new users, they may accept $ now.  If they do, let us know how we can contribute.  Maybe have different tiers so folks can contribute what they can.  An $8 plan might be popular.
