It doesn't seem like there's an automated way to de-list from https://joinmastodon.org, so I temporarily disabled new signups to the instance (got another 150 over dinner)...... but now instead of them ending up in a moderation queue, they get told to email me instead 😂Back to Plan A! :ruby:

OK, registrations are back open, but we're going to get comfy with keeping folk in the moderation queue for a little while. 🛋️ If you are bringing over friends -- and please do -- just make sure to strongly encourage them to properly fill in the "Reasons for joining" with a couple of sentences (ideally mentioning :ruby:) so that they are easier to spot 👍️
