       @killyourfm I wish that somehow adding #'s to a bio would make you findable based on those #'s in the search. But it's not... (from what I understand)But sure, why not

       @killyourfm I have done this, but then I haven't done a full bio, yet. I did create an introductory post though with hashtags included.

       @killyourfm I can't think of a reason for not using them. They might not be functional but put them in if you want them.

       @killyourfm they can be searched. So, if you want to be found based on your bio, hashtags is the way. There's no text search here.

       @killyourfm I was wondering about this myself as a #twitterrefugee and newcomer to #mastadon, and will be interested to see what the community's take is. Just posted my introduction yesterday and used hashtags a plenty there, but wasn't sure if I wanted to do so in my bio.
