Good morning Fediverse! I want to start today with a #music recommendation. It's not remotely indie or under-the-radar, but I've been listening to a ton of Angels & Airwaves lately. This is the brainchild of Tom DeLonge of Blink 182 fame. @killyourfm I worked on one of their music videos a long time ago. "Do it for me now." I was the film loader. I still have that song stuck in my head after hearing it a thousand times over the course of two days of filming.

@killyourfm hmm interesting. I will check it out. Tbh I was not a fan of DeLonges voice although I enjoyed Blink. That being said I thought they sounded better with Matt Skiba. Will try it out. @Faz HAHA! There are definitely two camps when it comes to Tom's voice. If you don't like his style, I'm not sure A&A will do anything to change your mind. ("Time" still sounds like "TOY_EEM" for example...) Regarding Jellyfish: Piano rock that's reminding me a bit of Queen meets... Ben Folds? I'm digging this!

@killyourfm I'm a huge fan of Ben Folds and Ben Folds Five so that makes sense. Apparently, they are a musos band - not particularly famous but have lots of musician fans. A bit like Big Star

@killyourfm you know it's not bad. I like it more than I thought I would - definitely aiming for the singalong stadium rock sound. However, I did the silly thing and read the bio and realised when they started they had the guitarist from Rocket from the Crypt who I love and the bassist from the Distillers who I LOVE so now struggling to not go and listen to them instead haha

@Magess That's right! I ended up asking my Canadian friend to log into his cloud server based in the US and then configure my...You know what? It was complicated and I don't remember! LOL
