@angristan If I recall,you were one of the few servers that was not aggressively blocking sites like gab etc.Personally, I'd like users to have the freedom to decide which sites get blocked so I somewhat agree with your actions if I am remembering correctly that is.

@angristan I wouldn’t make much of it… My instance got put on a shit list by a childish admin and I was branded as someone who “defends racists” because I didn’t reply to their report within 30 mins of filing it. Apparently me replying “I’ll take a look later” really upset them and suddenly I was in a fediblock list. :lol_fb:

@MrClon @angristan I think theres some balance to be had.Maybe a default setting to give users the best experience. But also give them an option to enable some blocked sites.I like debating and de-radicalizing so i'd have an interest but not sure how that could work.The funny thing is the real 1984ish lie we've been told is:Capitalism = freedomSocialism = tyrannyThough reality is more likeCapitalism = corporate tyrannySocialism = worker freedom😉
