       Proper documentation of shared data is important, but I often see codebooks missing.A while ago, I wrote a simple #shiny  app for our lab to create minimal codebooks.You can upload your data, the app will read out your variables and create a text input for each variable to describe it. It also creates some summary statistics for each variable. There are good solutions to do this from within R (e.g., the {codebook} package), but maybe this is also of use for others:https://pmusfeld.shinyapps.io/codebook-generator/
