@10leej Gnome is my favorite because of the Activities feauture and the polish but Cinnamon is pretty good too.I don't have much luck with Plasma. It's so buggy for me lol

@10leej I used to be a huge Cinnamon fan but gradually fell in love with Mate and have trouble using anything else now.

@10leej LXQT is awesome. Very light, very modular. By default it comes with Openbox window manager, but you literally can pick any window manager from the settings.I've heard criticisms, that it is suppossed to be so lightweight, but pulls a bunch of KDE dependencies... but it's only if it's used with Kwin (which is a great option for all the compositing and fluff), but you can pick something lighter, or even a tiling WM.
