       @martijn Not at all.We are simply asking our followers to signal (via a share) their response, it's not that different from a poll.Implying we are engaging in toxic or extortionate behaviour is pretty ignorant considering the context, and the fact that pixelfed doesn't support polls by default - we did this so most implementations could respond if desired.

       @pixelfed @martijn Sorry to insist, but what was the question?You didn't say "Do you want the app te be released?", which may be what you meant at the end.I think that if martijn asks you his concern is because he assumes that there probably is a reasonable motivation. And the concern is refered to identifying patterns linked to the gamification of the network relations.It also feel strange to me the way you ask for the response, despite I really appreciate (and contribute) your efforts.Have a nice day!

Anyone impatient in The Appleverse can create a app-like shortcut on the home screen with Safari…- From the Pixelfed page click Share…- Click “Add to Home Screen”- Click “Add”- Loose your train of thought and stare blankly at the wall for slightly too long. Remember that thing you said by mistake that one time?- Open the new shortcut from the Home Screen.

       @pixelfed Can we not do the whole "X boosts to get Y" dance?If the app is out, we'll use it. If not, the risk is people will wander away from the platform. But stop Twitterising engagement.
