Measurements using the #QUIC "spin bit" (the most disputed bit in the whole #IETF)GAFA don't appear to use spin bit. Tests done with other servers.

#DNS : work on DNS error reporting (main work), everything works and interoperate. One public resolver (running Unbound) available for testing. Two auth. servers done (Drink and Trex).But also work on ECH (Encrypted Client Hello, to hide SNI in #TLS sessions).

Benchmarking infrastructure which is in containers. Don't ask me details, but there was eBPF, vSwitch, Cilium, etc. Do you know these technologies?

Also from Far East, satellite networks. Testing with Hypathia, a virtual environment to test LEO (satellite in low orbits) stuff. Much cheaper than real satellites :-)

L4S, a set of techniques to fight congestion. New algorithms (PRAGUE), new use of ECN. Tests on Wifi and (emulated) 5G. For instance, equality between the flows is respected. (21 participants at the hackathon.)

There is also, at the #IETF115 hackathon, work on PQC (post-quantum cryptography). Implementations in Java, C, Python, Rust. Most issues are stupid (X 509) encoding problems, not cryptographical ones.
