       @niksko@hachyderm.io @bcantrill@mastodon.social Eh, for things like Oxide and friends, mumble would work, but would be somewhat annoying between the identity and the fact that it needs an application.

       @ignaloidas @bcantrill sure, but some sort of discovery would be nice. Sounds like Murmur has enough scripting to maybe integrate with ActivityPub?

       @niksko@hachyderm.io @bcantrill@mastodon.social I think it would be possible to cobble together some kind account integration from murmur side, but I think the real problem is more of ease of use. I doubt these spaces would be as successful if they would need you to download something or open up a separate page to listen. Last I tested a web client for mumble, it was pretty bad.But I think it would be worth building something on top of mumble. The protocol is time tested, and works great (which I can't say about twitter spaces). I think there's a bunch of integration points, mostly designed for games, which could be used for something like this.
