@icedquinn @nyx didn't Bitcoin even have a checksum in the last 5-ish characters in the base-58 addresses from the get-go, I'd be surprised if something didn't have a checksum

@hayley @nyx i don't think so. BTC is where a lot of the "i just sent a million dollars to a typo" memes come from.NXT actually put in some error correction codes to stop that kind of crap. I dunno about XMR.

@nyx ??? you don't have to scan the whole blockchain with your wallet if you just created one. Also you don't contribute to the blockchain unless you mine as well. You might as well stick to a remote node. Monerujo sucks tho I agree
