@mcg is it bad that I'm almost happy "normies" can't figure out mastodon? I feel like if this place gets flooded by exactly the same people than twitter that this place will turn into twitter... Don't get me wrong I'm really glad Mastodon is taking off, and wish to see more people here. But at the same time...

@brodriguesco We will have to suffer these users for a short time, but they will either change or they won't stay. They can't do here what they do on Twitter without algorithms (to invade your eyeballs) and centralized administration (to bait you into argument until one of you says something that could be misconstrued as rule breaking then reports it)@mcg
