       @adamasnemesis I saw a claim elsewhere that this was due to "ballot exhaustion".  That probably means that R voters probably bother indicating their second choices.  <-- speculativeGood for the Ds, who filled their ballots properly.#uspol

       @mxtthxw Some of the fishies in the voting booth must've thought so. 🙃 But in all seriousness, the fishing issue was a centerpiece of Peltola's campaign; TBH I don't know much about it other than what I read in some news articles last night.

       @adamasnemesis There are a lot of advantages to ranked-choice voting, but whether one supports it or not in principle, it's foolish not to understand and use the rules as they stand.
