I am toying with creating an instance, specifically, for journalists. Obv. they can use federated stream but it might be a way to give an easy landing pad for folks. I'd welcome any advice (or offers of help!!!!) for what to do and not do in setting up such a thing. Specifically: how would I decide how to approve folks? How narrowly or not should I define "journalist"? The many things I'm not thinking about?

@adamdavidsonmasthead.social already exists. I think we need every journalist org (like NPR) to have their own server. journalists with their domain in their full social media account is the decentralized solution to verification and trusted information. journalists would then also want personal accounts for when they're not speaking for the outlet etc.
