       @dielan it can be overwhelming as it's very different from what they're used to and they don't know anything about all these servers besides their cover info. it's fine for them to drop into a de-facto option, and then relocate after they learn more about the fediverse and get to know the other servers via interactions with their members, etc. that's why i like how mastodon makes migration easy by preserving your followers.
