       @rasheedawilson federated timeline and hashtags seem to be the key. As far as I can tell, the nature of the fediverse means it's better to be on the biggest possible server so you see the most content. smaller servers mean you're locked out of a lot of content on other servers

       @Sakti @rasheedawilson probably stay on global timeline until you build up your own curated timeline by following accounts you like.  Bigger servers aren't always better because many of them are defederated and block you from seeing most other servers, real big faggot energy when it comes to that.
