By assessing the greenhouse gas emissions of the Institute for Research in Astrophysics and Planetology (IRAP), which is the largest astrophysics laboratory in France, our paper provides for the first time a comprehensive assessment of all sources of greenhouse gases that arise from astronomical activities.
