       Hey folks! Is #slackware still active? It’s been a decade since I’ve used it last time and now I’m wondering which distro to choose for my secondary development notebook.Are #archlinux and #gentoolinux options too?

       @vesperto has done a couple of times since 2014. Always the same 14.2 release. I just checked again and saw a 15.0 #slackware news. It doesn’t mean that the distro is alive and kicking, though.

       @hlegiusConsidering #Slackware is the oldest actively maintained distro around and that Mr Volkerding is still alive, a new release this year fits my "it's alive and kicking" checkbox. But YMMV of course.
