       I hope Mastodon is ok with artists trying to make a living from the beautiful work they enhance your feed with on this platform. So many of us relied almost entirely on Twitter to survive bc it was the only platform that yielded us an engaged, friendly audience. There is no other place for us, not really.

       @pepperraccoonIt depends on the terms of your instance, but mastodon.art is pretty cool about self-promotion within reasonable bounds. So you'll probably be fine.People are generally supportive of such stuff. I actually finally sold some posters I'd been sitting on for a year after I joined. Once again, the engagement:followers ratio is a lot higher here.
