hey y'all, uhhhh, as a token kike: it kinda really *really* concerns me how many ppl who are unaware they're repeating fascist dogwhistles, or even outright ideas. like, yeah, maybe that aint your intent, but by repeating the aforementioned dogwhistles, the dipshits like neo-nazis, trump supporters (and other fascist regimes! can't forget Brazil's important election) and others like the proud boys, the kkk, etc. are gonna think "awwww shit! people agree with me in the marginalized community, this *obviously* means i don't gotta change or anything! because im not alone."like, we gotta be way more diligent about this shit, wojak memes for one are a dogwhistle, we gotta make sure esp in as much of a shit position as we're in, like pro-para stuff/radqueer/whatever community, bc like, while power can corrupt, obviously, oppression can too. think oppression olympics, where people "compete" to have it worse, especially if someone ain't careful to monitor their media diet. its damn hard to make sure everything you take in is "healthy", but i reassure you, its worth it. not to say shit like "animal rights are incomplete without veganism", or something, idk, but like, man, this is fucking important shit that people keep missing.just, be careful.

@laura alright, if you want another example i saw today alone: thinking nazi propaganda is cool because people are fighting in it. the person thinks communist propaganda is boring because its just people in suits walking around, according to their words.they don't see the issue with this at all.i don't care how commonplace they've become, in fact that's part of the problem? the fact they're so common makes other nazis and shit think their views are acceptable in any sense.

Hollowing out the racist origins still leaves the shell of those origins in that, you still end up unintentionally structuring a message around bad shit. It's a meme format, the format still carries a message. Like, even just the old ass idea that 'ugly' people are evil and 'beautiful' people are good. I don't condemn all people who use those memes and probably have laughed at a few myself but like, if I'm gonna make a meme I wouldn't jump to using wojak and chad.

"Porn addiction" is actually an example of a compulsive behavior that gets reinforced externally and is overwhelmingly present among people who have a bad relationship with their sexuality. To put it simpler, the more you hate yourself and the more you hate that you're a sexual person, the more likely you are to think that jerking off is taking control of your life. And this is gonna turn into a self fulfilling prophecy.And one of the reasons why this meme is bad is because it's pushing THIS EXACT VIEW of masturbation and porn that you just described.
