Gentoo is working, but I once again am finding myself on 6 different distros across my devices.So, lets look at major distros only for this. What is the distro of my future Starnix? I hereby vow to run that distro (maybe not the same instalation) for the entire year of 2023 and I just dont want to use and Gentoo. Like I did for 2022 where it's been a disaster.

@10leej If it were me facing those choices i'd pick Debian. Dirt easy to install; easy to get the Libre kernel installed; and they ship a version with Mate preinstalled.

@10leej #Debian is likely to get the most votes in your poll. I voted for #VoidLinux, but would have voted for #Devuan if it was an option. You could still choose Devuan as it is #Debian but with a different init system. I use #runit as my init scheme. Void also using runit. Whatever you choose, enjoy it. And let us know how it goes for you.
