@HebrideanHecate Funny you should mention that. Guess who had a swimming lesson yesterday…?(While I was out getting the car, I went and bought some of the treats she used to use before she started selling these fancy ones. I was extremely glad that today’s poo wasn’t in a place where I needed to try and clean it up, and enough is enough.)

@Flick Ye gods, what is in them? 😬 These wee ones are the fartiest cats I have ever had, it’sreally terrible, and will they hell do their business outside either.Up a tree, on top of shed roof, come charging down, in the backdoor and scrabble scrabble in litter and then the stench.

@HebrideanHecate God knows. They’re “all natural, cereal-free”, salami type things. There’s a reason I only feed him kibble and not meat, so I’m afraid he’s going back on the treats made from reconstituted pink goo, cereals and artificial flavouring. Is there any point trying charcoal for cats, or are they too fussy about what they’ll eat?

@HebrideanHecate @Flick Hebs do your kittens eat really fast? Sometimes gulping air makes them fart more. Maybe try to slow down eating by using a feeding mat or similar.If they keep on farting then you should get ask the vet at their next check up. It could be an allergy or food intolerance.My cats are still all happily mostly fart free! 😊

@macha @HebrideanHecate Good point. I had to slow down Dog when I realised he was eating so fast that he would throw it back up a few minutes later (and then, being a dog, eat it for a second time). Now he has a bowl like this, which does slow him down somewhat:

@macha @Flick I think I might because they are terrible. They get the Whiskas jellymeat packets and some top up of Harringtons biscuits.They are gannets and plough in so it could be air intake right enough. The rescue woman sent them home with packets of Felix, as that iswhat they were on, but the smell of it is so horrible that it stank thehouse out and I switched.

@HebrideanHecate @macha That’s dogs for you…. I have no idea how long it had been going on for, because he licked the floor so clean afterwards and I was in the habit of feeding him then going to feed the ducks straight afterwards, then for some reason I stuck around a few days in a row and saw what was going on while I was outside!
