       As someone that strolls around parks and cemeteries trying to get a baby to sleep, I find that the level of noise pollution in the city is crazy, with many parks or graveyards even having their own construction work or maintenance (leaf blowers) that it’s loud enough to wake a sleeping baby. #NoisePollution #CityLife #UrbanLiving

       Of course, I don’t have a good solution for when they should do this construction work, but I’m just pointing out that it’s quite noisy. I wonder what steps could be taken to generally make the city a quieter place and what effect that would have on the city itself.

       @tagomago I was walking through the cemetery the other day and there were three different people in different parts all with leaf blowers making noise and blowing leaves around. #WakingTheDead

       @matt Have electric-powered leafblowers come to Norway / Europe yet? They are demonstrably quieter than gas-burning ones, better for the environment, and gaining in popularity in the U.S.
