       @gmeNot sure what you mean by 'propaganda'#Mastodon.social should close off its #registrations and redirect new registrations to other mastodon #servers/#instances to ensure #decentralisation of the #fediverse. Registering on a different instances is the purpose of the #federated #universe.

       The growing use of that instance is a separate issue. The problem here is people conflating mastondon and the fediverse in a way that pretends other server software doesn't exist, or is somehow inferior by default.
