It appears to me that the TtV Butch and Sundance have doubled down several times in the past (there's that sub stack series on Gregg's history that I refer to for this). Hence the disjointed Pit, Ripcord, Tiger, etc., narratives/mechanisms. It appears that those who backed the 2000 Mules flick saw an opportunity to profit and distract using TtV muppetry (and I think 2000 Mules is far more likely to be an actual op whereas TtV feel more like mere grift), lending Butch and Sundance some unexpected windfall credibility which they used to ensnare WtM opportunists and grifters at the Pit.

I suspect that the Sheriffs caught up in all of this are not going to be very happy. And while TtV asserted that thousands of Sheriffs were involved, I have only seen one or two up on stage with them. And with respect to the criminal case, Los Angeles DA Gascon is a Democrat stooge of the highest order. He may come to regret being used in this apparent scheme and turn his prosecutorial energies in the exact opposite direction.

Now, TtV are flailing, attempting to improvise as best they can. I believe that a Red Wave in '22 is necessary. Another crushing defeat at the hands of cheaters is too much, in my view, and it'd put too much repair work loaded up for '24 to truly see a recovery within a reasonable time frame. Maybe.But a whole bunch of people means that one is at risk of a Appeal to the People fallacy as much as anything else.The court documents I have read are pretty clear all by themselves and the story TtV, and especially Gregg, are saying in public is different to what they say in court when perjury is a risk.I have sounded a warning that my gut says something about people looking for a buck.We will see if I am right or wrong and I would welcome being wrong.

I see it a bit differently in that Gregg and Catherine were successful in getting people to dig into CCP interference in the infrastructure, and Konnech's subsequent arrest after several articles from Kanekoa pointing to things he'd found, and a parallel investigation leading to said arrest, seemed to confirm TTV's concerns and hopes for something to happen. Then Konnech is set free without bail and they are arrested! Something stinks.

If Konnech is successfully dragged through the mud, their ability to get new contracts essentially vanishes.This can get spun in the news (as it was with the opposition MP in Aussie) but Konnech does not care one little bit of they get labeled as heavy handed. If they can show that they won those cases on the merits, they can continue to do business.If not, they vanish almost overnight.
