According to nightpool, there are security implications (https://discourse.joinmastodon.org/t/profile-link-verification-fails/1752). Link verification is not really necessary for me, as my website and Mastodon instance share the same domain, but still...

@stux @ruud just an idea but if the screen reader reads the colon and the emoji short name then maybe prefixing all emoji names with emoji_ would make it easier to understand.

@stux Emojies(alle) worden voorgelezen. Dus jij bent iets als "stux pompoen". Eén keer is niet erg, maar elke keer is vervelend. En sommigen hebben meerdere emojies en dan is het kermis hoor. Ik was me er eerder niet zo van bewust, net als ontoegankelijkheid voor rolstoelen, of fietsen op de blindengeleidestrook parkeren. Nu probeer ik er meer rekening mee te houden, mijn mond open te doen als ik iets zie wat beter kan. Zodat mensen met een beperking ook gezellig mee kunnen doen.
