       Violence is unacceptable whether from the left or right, period. But we can’t allow GOP leaders to get away with this false moral equivalency.        @AgentCarter_SSR They think one attack on Steve Scalise, which Democrats have repeatedly and forcefully denounced, and one protester with a gun at Kavanaugh's house, which again, notice which party says we need guns to be regulated, is the same as thousands of insurrectionists, some armed, trying to overthrown the American government and assassinate our legislators.

       @whatnext @AgentCarter_SSR A while back, our instance admin posted one a screenshot of a different Effin Bird and since then, many users on our instance have been doing the same in response to things Republicans say and do and stupid things we see in the media. It's a good coping strategy. If you're not familiar with Aaron Reynolds and his work, check out his tumblr! He posts a new one every day there (as well as on various other social media but I'm glad to to use those!). He's also the one who does Swear Trek and Swear Who, though I don't know if he still makes new gifs for either of those projects.https://effinbirds.tumblr.com/
