I am very aware that mstdn.social is a bit slow :sad_cat: I am doing my best to balance the load a bit until a friendly face of Hetzner replies to my request for more access to CPU's It's a bit frustrating since I've not had this issue before and I can't do anything but wait I know your pain❤️ Normally Mastodon is super duper mega awesome fast like the speed of light :lightning_bolt: (maybe even faster :blobcatscience: :blobcatgiggle: )

@stux For what it’s worth, Mstdn seems just as snappy as anything else right now and I’m all the way across the Atlantic Ocean. Really liking the community so far and the service is working fine under the circumstances. Thanks for all you do.

@stux Hi, is there a resource somewhere for recommended settings for mastodon servers based on number of users to ensure it can handle the volume? A friend is running an instance and I'm curious if there are API and pull queue limits that need to be raised. Not sure how you can even tell when an instance is choking.

@stux little I can add but thank you for making things work. It's fast enough though for people like me who know orange-letters-on-black-screen-only and other ancient stuff from when computers were really slow (and did not fit in pockets either ...)
