@Luca Your work seems related to ideas I have been discussing with @hfueller in the context of digital geographies research. Would you be interested in collaboration with the goal of publishing something in this field?

@flo_korn @hfueller Thanks for asking, but at the moment I am already over capacity.

@Luca @hfueller Fully understandable! I will take the liberty to learn from your work... Do you have any papers I can cite if we publish something?

@flo_korn @hfueller I only recently re-joined academia, so there is only one preprint I collaborated on ( https://arxiv.org/abs/2204.02290 ) and my bachelor thesis https://lucahammer.com/ba2020 . And this blog post https://sfb1472.uni-siegen.de/publikationen/expertise-und-ihre-titel .

The ongoing rupture and (possible) reestablishing of social media infrastructure seems a unique opportunity for digital geography research. Would be especially interested in how the role and significance of instances change as people mature with the fediverse. Just of curiosity: Is it technically possible to log direction of account migrations? @flo_korn @Luca
