💿 So recently I have re-discovered the joy of curating my own physical collection of #music with a modern spin. It turns out that used #CDs can be obtained as low as $1-2, converted to lossless #opensource #FLAC files, and then streamed with an #opensource #Subsonic server. And because I own the music, no corporation can ever decide to take it away from some so-called "unlimited" subscription, and no trackers. What about you? If you are a music fan, what have you been thinking about doing?

@downeySo far i've only ripped my collection to FLAC, but haven't quite decided on what media library to use, synch/stream to mobile and decent players.

@downey I have a collection of CDs which I play on my CD player, but I insert the CDs into my computer, and then rip them with #k3b by #KDE. Then I can play them on my computer or load them onto flash drives!
