       Does Mastodon allow you to translate toots? I follow a ton of German sociologists, but cannot understand their toots, and desperately want to.

       @seth_abrutyn I am afraid not. I have a Google translate tab opened all the time behind my Mastodon tab. 😣On Android the situation is the same: I use the long press > translate function with my tusky app.

       @perspektivbrockenUnder Android, select the text and then press on it for a couple of seconds. A little menu should pop up with a translate option. This will send the text straight to Google translate if it's installed.If your Android language is set to the same language is the selected text, the translate option is replaced by defined.Hope this helps! @seth_abrutyn
