       @Kathrynwh @prof_goldberg If you weren't aware, @feditips is an excellent account to follow.  There is also #feditips, though I've seen a lot of people just using that for gags tonight.  Dunno how useful it is in general, since I only started watching it today.

       @WillDHB There are usually lots of genuine tips under the FediTips tag. It's annoying that some people have started polluting it with nonsense. If you're new here, I suggest muting the accounts of anyone doing that. They're unlikely to be generally welcoming and helpful to newbies, and It's a good way to get into the habit of using that tool. I generally clear out my mute and block lists every month or two. I've never yet had to mute the same account twice.@Kathrynwh @prof_goldberg @feditips
