Anyone else out in Mastodonland trying #NaNoWriMo next month? I’m thinking of taking the plunge!

@motalley I keep hearing about this every year. Maybe this year I could have a go too? What does it involve again?

@strypey It’s where you write a 50,000 word novel during the month of November. It looks pretty fun! https://nanowrimo.org/about-nano

@motalleyAh yes. So the goal could be to write 1500-2000 words a day. Or maybe have a higher goal for the first couple of weeks, say 3000-3500, in case of running out of steam. Do you havea strategy in mind?

@strypey I’m going to try to write at least 1667 words a day, but trying to do more words in the beginning sounds like a good idea, in case anything comes up.
